Up this day, the prophetical passage of Isaiah 29 is a true revelation, because Ariel is not just a person, it is a city and currently the capital of Samaria. The world who does not read the bible, knows Ariel as the mermaid from a Disney play, and Germans know Ariel as a washing powder operating under the motto "Ariel - makes you not clean, it makes you pure" and a logo resembling a Magen David.
I will encamp against you on all sides; I will encircle you with towers and set up my siege works against you. Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper. Isaiah 29.3-4
Ariel Sharon was a God send picture for the prophetical city Ariel in Samaria. And as Isaiah 7 says earlier... Ephraim is Samaria and if you do not believe this and have faith in the Holy One, you will not stand at all.
The Center attention in geopolitics will shift for HaShem's seal for Mount Zion and his elected king.

Jerusalem is the stone of stumbling for all nations, but we come slowly to an end.
The ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who have an eye for evil will be cut down – those who with a word make someone out to be guilty, who ensnare the defender in court and with false testimony deprive the innocent of justice.
